Family Medicine Residency
Aloha mai kākou and e komo mai (greetings to all and welcome) to the Wai'anae Coast Comprehensive Health Center's (WCCHC) Family Medicine Residency Program! We are the first Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC)-based residency program in the state of Hawai'i! WCCHC is the largest FQHC on the island of O'ahu and provides primary care to the people of the Wai'anae Coast (Mākaha, Wai'anae, Lualualei, Nānākuli), Kapolei, Ewa Beach, and Waipahu communities. The residency clinic is based out of the beautiful James and Abigail Campbell Clinic in Nānākuli. Our 3-3-3 residency program began on July 1, 2025. Our residents spend time throughout the WCCHC clinic system, including our stand-alone emergency department in Māʻili, and do required inpatient rotations at our affiliated hospitals within the Queen’s Medical Centers at Manamana and West O‘ahu.
If you are passionate about training and one day practicing in an underserved, multi-cultural, community health setting then this is the residency program for you!
