What is the Summit Pacific
Nurse Residency Program?

Summit Pacific has a nurse residency program where nurse learners can grow and learn fundamental skills from skilled instructors. This course provides practical training strategies, meaningful evaluation, and feedback.

Online Learning Modules

Each of the Residents participates in structured learning modules and has monthly live discussion sessions with Residents from other programs. They discuss experiences in applying each of the tools they are taught.

Choose Your Focus

Residents focus monthly on an area of nursing, including the development of critical thinking, effective communication with patients and the healthcare team, time management, patient safety, education, healthcare finance, and evidence-based practice.

Select a Case Study

The Residents are encouraged to select a Change Project, Case Study, or Committee Work to complete professional experience and disseminate the results to their leaders and peers.
