Phoebe Family Medicine Residency is a world-class, fully accredited program committed to fostering personal and professional growth in a supportive, collegial environment.

Located in beautiful Albany, Georgia, just hours from Atlanta, beaches on the Atlantic and Gulf coasts and the mountains of North Georgia, our community has something for everyone – from golf to hunting and fishing to museums and concerts.

Residency Program Curriculum:

We have an integrated and flexible three-year curriculum that is very innovative, while meeting ACGME/RRC-FM requirements for accreditation.

Annual Resident Salary

Phoebe Family Medicine Residents receive a competitive salary and benefits package and is one of the best in the state. (Effective 9/1/2025)…

PGY1 – $61,500
PGY2 – $62,500
PGY3 – $63,500

Resident Benefits Include

  • $2,000 moving allowance
  • $1,500 education fund for books and CME
  • $1,300 ABFM Board certification paid by program
  • USMLE Step 3 fee paid by program
  • Georgia State License fee paid by program
  • Training permits and renewals paid by program
  • Vacation – 28 days leave annually. Maternity and paternity leave also available
  • Five days CME annually
  • Certification fees paid by program (Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Pediatric Life Support, and Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
