Rogers has contracts with schools across the country to provide nursing training for registered nurses and psychiatric mental health practitioners. Contact your nursing program for more information.
Rogers Behavioral Health locations in Wisconsin serve as the training site for more than 200 nursing students drawn from some of the most prominent nursing schools in the Midwest. In addition to guidance from on-site supervisors appointed by the nursing programs, you benefit from interaction with the expert psychiatric nurses at Rogers, who are part of a multidisciplinary team with a singular focus on mental health and addiction.
Apply on time using the schedule below:
- Fall requests (for experiences occurring between August and December) must be submitted by March 1
- Spring requests (for experiences occurring between January and May) must be submitted by August 1
- Summer requests (for experiences occurring between May and August) must be submitted by January 1
For BSN 1:1 preceptor requests, MSN 1:1 preceptor requests (only current employees may request), and RN clinical group placement requests: please email clinicalnurseeducation@rogersbh.org.
Throughout the year, students, residents, and fellows gain valuable experience toward their degree or program requirements by working alongside Rogers’ clinical staff in psychology, nursing, social work, experiential therapy, counseling, and dietetics. Rogers serves as a site for required clinical rotations, internships, and practicums for various institutions across the country. Through these programs, students get the opportunity to be part of the gold standard care offered by a private, independent, national leader in specialty behavioral healthcare while gaining additional knowledge and skills.
