Speech-Language Pathologist (Home Health) & Clinical Fellowship Supervisor

As a full-time Home Health Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), you will provide skilled, compassionate care to patients in their homes. In collaboration with the Case Manager and interdisciplinary care team, you will assess, treat, and support patients with speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders. You will also act as an educator and patient advocate, promoting improved communication and quality of life.

In addition to your clinical responsibilities, you may serve as a Clinical Fellowship Supervisor, overseeing and mentoring speech-language pathology Clinical Fellows as they work toward certification. When supervising a Fellow in your area, your weekly visit expectation will be reduced— allowing you the time and flexibility to provide comprehensive training, support, and evaluation in line with certification standards.

This dual role allows you to continue your direct patient care while contributing to the growth and development of future SLPs through meaningful mentorship.

What you'll do as the Clinical Fellowship Supervisor:

    • Provide supervision, guidance, and mentorship to speech-language pathology clinical fellows as they complete their clinical fellowship year.
    • Develop and implement individualized learning plans (ILPs) for each clinical fellow, outlining goals, objectives, and milestones for their professional development.
    • Conduct regular evaluations and assessments of clinical fellows' progress and clinical competencies.
    • Provide constructive feedback and coaching to clinical fellows to enhance their clinical skills and decision-making abilities.
    • Collaborate with clinical coordinators and other healthcare professionals to facilitate clinical experiences and learning opportunities for clinical fellows.
    • Ensure compliance with certification and licensure requirements for clinical fellows.
    • Facilitate discussions and case reviews to promote clinical reasoning and evidence-based practice among clinical fellows.
    • Coordinate and participate in meetings, seminars, and workshops to support the professional growth and development of clinical fellows.
    • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to clinical fellowship supervision and progress evaluations.
